שוטרי יחידת האופנועים של תחנת חיפה ביצעו הערב (שישי) פעילות אכיפה ברחוב העצמאות בעיר.

רכב מסוג מזדה שסימנו לו השוטרים לעצור לבדיקה, האיץ בתגובה את נסיעתו לכיוון השוטרים שהיו מזוהים בכל האמצעים הנדרשים ופגע באחד השוטרים שנפצע באורח בינוני.
